We saw the national title game vs Bosco and MD. Bosco cut the head off the snake, and once again beat a quality team. No Doubt Bosco is the champs! in the country!

Omar is correct.... computer polls will have Bosco and MD as 1 and 2, respectively. Human polls could pick Duncanville. It happened last year where the human polls flipped after MD beat DLS and North Shore beat Duncanville on a miracle last play. There are people out there that have a hard on for Texas.
Bosco is POTENTIALLY in the exact same boat this as MD was last year...... a 1-loss CA team that is number 1 in every computer poll compared to an undefeated Texas team.
Exactly, thank you. I'm not saying it should happen, I'm saying it could happen again, the circumstances are eerily similar. The season is not over.

Disclaimer: Duncanville's chances took a big hit (pun intended) when their all-everything 4-star QB went down in the semifinal with an ACL. The frosh backup filled in okay but the offense just won't be the same. They do have a strong D though, so anything's possible...

FYI Calpreps' projection, probably doesn't take into account the injury...may be updated later in the week

neutral field
Duncanville (TX) 35, North Shore (Houston, TX) 31

Duncanville deserves to be in the conversation with Bosco. Period. Fortunately for Bosco, they're probably not going to win this week against a pretty good North Shore team. If they pull it out, they deserve a share of the title.

Duncanville losing that QB is like SJB or MD losing DJ or Bryce.

Yeah, it's a huge loss for them. I watched the game live. He took a helmet straight to the side of his knee as he was coming down with all his weight on that leg. It didn't look good. They put in a freshman to replace him, and he looked about as good as a freshman can look. We'll see how it goes this week.

Agreed. It's too bad about about their QB. On the flip side however, if Duncanville somehow does manage to win despite not having their stud QB, they would really raise some eyebrows in the human polls.

If Duncanville "wins out" they will likely get a nod in one poll. Just like the posters above said (Omar, OOS, etc). The Human Poll will take into consideration the market that is Texas HS football and throw them a bone, IMHO. Would be deserved especially considering overcoming adversity of losing a key starting QB.

The fact that MD played a very strong national schedule this year will benefit Bosco in the end from a ratings standpoint. Bosco last year didn't have the same national strength of schedule that MD had this year.

No doubt that will help. Bosco will be #1 in multiple polls.

Just curious what you HS football gurus think...if MD and SJB played 10 times...

5/5?

7/3? Which way?

Im going with 7/3 MD over Bosco in 2019
but 8/2 with Bosco over MD in 2018
--:--
2018 the best team was bosco who had 1 poor game offensively while limited Bryce, losing 17-13.
2019 the best team was md who had about as bad of a 3rd qtr as you could have, losing 39-35

I watched Prep Zone games on the app here in AZ.

if this doesn't work-there might be a plan B if you have access to a VPN which fools the network into thinking you are located in TX.

8/2 sounds about right...10/0 if every game ends at halftime
