Trinity League Football

Post by redblue42 »

This week is week one for TL
My list is:
MD
(bold) Servite
Bosco
SM
Olu
Jserra

I think MD is unbeatable even with a freshmen QB. I think that if Servite OL is at least competent during the game they will smoke Bosco secondary. Their defense is underrated as well. Its bold but I just wanted to start some controversy. SM leveled up this offseason and I would not be surprised if they gave Servite/Bosco a run for their money. OLU and Jserra are rebuilding.

Has anyone seen the freshman QB for MD?

Any passing league, or scrimmages? I'm sure he is capable, but in the SAME league as Barkley and JT?

Big shoes to fill.

Daforno It's crazy, not even 247 has a single photo of him. It's not April 1st yet, is it? https://www.si.com/sports-illustrated/2 ... joe-berton

Really curious if anyone knows the MD freshman?

With Barkley and JT there were lot's of video and fanfare, so we kinda had a clue what was possibly going to happen.

I haven't heard anything about or seen this kid. Bruce and Money aren't stupid, so I must believe the kid can play, but anybody know anything???

Must be, because honestly I hadn't heard anything until this week, NOT that I'm a big follower, but I do pay some attention.
For example I knew about the Clarkson kid at Bosco from the fathers QB camps, I thought the Junior transfer kid had it locked after Moss bailed out!

MD had another QB transfer in , a Beau Green from NorCal, a 3star who had offers,
I believe? He went back to Turlock maybe the QB competition gave him second thoughts?

These games are unwatchable.

For one of the best leagues in the country, this is pretty bad, non-competitive football.

Hopefully, we’ll get at least one or two good games in this shortened season.

Watched MD for like 15 minutes, hard to watch especially from ground level!

I think about 2-3 years ago didn't J Serra sell out and bring in a lot of junior and senior transfer kids to try to make a run at a title?

I think they shot their wad, they have no one!

Their cupboard is bare. I swear their kids looked like a JV team, so under sized compared to MD.

Really can't get a read on MD as tonight was just awful, I hope no one on either side was injured.

That was ugly last night. There are 3 great teams in the Trinity and watching them play each other will be fun. JSerra won’t win a game. I was expecting a little more from OLu although I assumed Servite would win easily. Let’s see whether SM can prevent the running clock against Bosco.
I’m looking forward to Servite/Bosco next week.

Why would expect anything from OLU??? They’re completely outclassed on the field, on the sidelines, and in the stands. Lot of noise for doing nothing.

Their QB can play but has no help at the line, wide outs, or in the game planning.

I hope there are 3. There are definitely 2 and I’m hoping Servite can put a scare in the top 2. Based on last years MD game, I’m not sure. Bosco won’t be looking past them this year.

There is just such a talent discrepancy now most of the games are a joke. It’s bad for the league.
