Dana Hills can make claim to No. 1 more than anyone else

Dana Hills won more Southern Section team titles than anyone else during the 2008-09 school year, with the Dolphins capturing four championships in Division I: girls' tennis, boys' and girls' cross-country and boys' track.

Cerritos, Gardena Serra, Sultana and Thousand Oaks tied for second with three team titles apiece.

School year 1981-82 or school year 1982-83?

Actually, it doesn't matter. School year 1981-82, Servite knocked Edison out of the playoffs with a first round upset.

School year 1982-1983, Servite won CIF in football over L.B Poly. I don't know who beat Edison, I just know they didn't win.

Both of those years, I know Edison didn't win CIF in football, which is one of the sports they have a trophy for.
Would you like to try a different year?

Someone made a chart at the end of last year showing EVERY Orange County school in a power ranking list: league titles, CIF titles, etc, by sport, by gender and overall. Really sorry I don't recall the author of this amazing chart, but does anyone know if we will see that little gem again for 2008-2009?

Yeah, Mr. Perspixx is conspicuously missing.

Hope we have a pool this year.

You can find perspixx’ “Best of 2007 / 2008” here - http://www.socalsportspool.com, just go to the fifth (5th) menu drop to the right, give it a click, and away you go. Included is “Best of 2006 / 2007,” which is the first year he produced the study. Both were heavily plagiarized by a certain Orange Country news paper without so much as a mention of who authored the thing (or who published it); typical really. With the school year complete as far as sports go I would imagine perspixx is hard at work on the 2008 / 2009 release.

Crayegg - Perspixx and I speak many times a week regarding the coming 2009 Orange County Football Pool, and yes, there will be a Pool, bigger and better than ever…if that’s even possible. This year RMOnAir and Kevin H. will battle for 1st place only to fall off as the year progresses, or was that last year.

Everyone should take some time during the off season to PM perspixx with changes you'd like to see to the Pool. He's always open to suggestion.
