1. Tustin
2. Cypress
3. Pacifica
4. Valencia
5. Kennedy
6. Western
7. Yorba Linda

Tustin looks like they get talent year in and year out, wouldn't count against it this year.
Cypress looks fine at it's skill positions if Ortiz stays, needs to replace lines on both sides of the ball
Pacifica will be fine with Johnson and Nava back leading the team
Valencia always seems to get a team that competes with Marrujo at the helm
Kennedy might be the upstart team with Pleasant and I think Troy Anderson at QB?
Western is a team that looks like things could get worse before they get better
Yorba Linda is a surprise who knows what kind of players they'll steal from O.Lu, Espy, and El Do

you place kennedy 5th.wow did you not notice how young their defense was last year and how good they should develop this year.that pleasant kid is a stud at football no doubt about that.if he did not get injured the irish would of had better luck in the playoffs and against cypress

You know I have the utmost respect for Kennedy High School, but their fans have time judging how good their team will be. I remember at the beginning of the year last year you guys were predicting a CIF Championship and a League Title. It's great that you guys are confident, not cocky, but sometimes facts are just facts. I'll give you this; Kennedy can finish 3rd at it's highest, depending on how they do with Valencia and Pacifica. Don't overlook Western as a possible upset somewhere either.

So many different rivalries come now:

Cypress vs. Western
Kennedy vs. Western
Valencia vs. Yorba Linda
Pacifica vs. Western
Tustin vs. Cypress

Not likely. Both Cypress and La Habra were much better teams last year. Frankly, didn't even belong on the same field as La Habra. Last two seasons 4-6 and 5-6 and you're surprised somebody would place Kennedy as a middle of the pack team? Stay off the message board and get in the weight room and change that perception next year.

Those are some serious questions the Cypress staff will have to answer in the off-season.

Ya there are, but if we go back to recent years, the 2006 team that first went 10-3 had 19 starters graduate. The 2007 team returned Ryan Saumur and Chase Packard as the only starters and welcomed in a plethora of juniors and seniors to fill those jobs. The whole line, offense and defense, was playing its first year of varsity along with all of its skill players and they end up winning CIF. Fenton does a good job of developing his talent no matter how small the talent pool is. They may not be as potent as last year, but definitely look for them to push for another league title. Probably not undisputed like the past two years though.

Cypress is tentaively playing a game in Florida and has Norwalk on the schedule. There are still a couple of open dates.

Yorba Linda High will play varsity next year with Juniors (and probably underclassmen)

There will be no seniors. Next year will also be the second year for the school.

There's no way that they play that game in Florida. With expenses and all, I just don't see it happening.

Something like this for the Cents. Get the cupcake to start and then get some LA County teams with some good South County teams:

Valley Christian
Norwalk
Tesoro
Capo Valley
California (Whittier)

Only 4 pre-league games this year. I think VC is gone. We'll see about FLA...gotta have faith Bose.
