The theme music along kind of gets me wound up. I remember how much I looked forward to this every week.

The variety of sports was the best part about that show. On the same days show we could see downhill skiing, boxing, weight lifting and formula one racing.

I remember we’d have grilled hamburgers or fish sticks and sit and watched Wide World of Sports every Saturday (or was it Sunday?) I can almost smell dinner just watching that video.
