Wimp and TED

Post by crayegg » Wed Feb 16, 2011 11:18 pm

First I stumbled across wimp.com on the internet(s) :D

Then I came upon TED ideas worth spreading.

Google it, see what you see.

This one reminds me of a guy I once played ping pong with who insisted the ball, when served, didn't need to hit his side of the table first.

I like that music. I forget the name of the song, but they use it on the Prison Planet videos. :D

I saw a show on PBS recently about dogs (or was it the Science Channel??). They truly are our best friend, unlike cats or any other animal. According to the show, mankind may not have survived if it wasn't for domesticated dogs. Apparently we bred the most tame wolves and ended up with dogs. They did research with wolves and within a few generations they looked like dogs.

Wimp has many amazing videos. TED rocks as well.

Check out this thing of beauty:

I might TRY to translate TED's <embed> code to BB Code but theirs is much more complicated than YouTube's so we'll see.

phpBB has a thread on their message board about such things but it's 218 pages long, so it might be easier to just try to hack it out than to look for help on it.

In the mean time, there is a TED page on YouTube but the video above isn't on it.

Don't look at me, I just work here.
