Couple of observations:MICHAEL MANN: Yeah, so 1.5 degrees Celsius warming over the time scale of a century is unprecedented. As far back as we can go, we have not seen rates of warming that large. And in fact, the level of warmth that we’ve now reached is unprecedented in tens of thousands of years.
1) "time scale of a century is unprecendeted?"
Researchers show that global warming happened just as fast in the past as today
"Climate change in the earth's past faster than previously thought"
Bonus enlightenment from kramer: "...than previously thought" is code speak for saying that previous peer reviewed studies were wrong. If you pay attention to some of the current MSM and science articles, they state this fairly often. Meanwhile, the socialist UN is leveraging this weak science in order to spend up to slightly over 100 trillion dollars to make the weather better and the world a better (socialist) place.
Bottom line: Mann's statement looks specious. And is he a dupe for socialists?
2) "the level of warmth that we’ve now reached is unprecedented in tens of thousands of years."
The picture below is of a tree stump around 5,000 years old, 100km north of the current tree line. That means, 5,000 years ago, it was so warm that there were trees 100km north of the current tree line.
Again, this picture makes the second statement by Mann looks specious.
Mann is the creator of the hockey stick graph of temperature. It was later found out that some of his statistical methods were wrong and that if you fed his computer program data from a random number generator, it would create a hockey stick.
