I am using IE 9 and am getting tired of it and all of its quirks.

Chrome on my laptop.
Firefox on my desktop.
Firefox on my desktop.

I just started using chrome yesterday. I like it but it is cumbersome for somethings like adding short cuts to your desktop or sending a link or page to an email recipient.Notorious wrote:Chrome on my laptop.

Even adding favorites is not as easy.

Firefox might be easier for you then. IE has been pretty terrible for a while, it just takes time to get used to something new.SLK230 wrote:

Firefox for linux at home, IE8 on Windows 7 at work.

Do you agree with Noto that it is easy?Vilepagan wrote:Firefox.

Firefox. I was using Safari. I removed it and iTunes. I'm using Windows 7. Apple programs seem to wreak havoc with my computer.
I like Firefox for some time. The Ctrl-L function that allows me to go to the address bar and autocomplete a bookmarked website is very useful. IE8 finally incorporated that feature.
I also like the Firefox plug-ins that allow me to download flash video.

You don't have a problem with the features I mentioned above?crayegg wrote:Chrome.

No, just took a while to figure things out and get used to it. For bookmarking, just click the star at the extreme right of the address bar. The tools button right next to that let's you do most other things.
Overall, I really like it.

Can you send a link or a page to a mail recipient?crayegg wrote:No, just took a while to figure things out and get used to it. For bookmarking, just click the star at the extreme right of the address bar. The tools button right next to that let's you do most other things.

IE9.
I use Chrome every once in a while, but I hate how the links on this board do not automatically update when I page back to an index page. Perhaps if someone knows how to fix that I will switch to Chrome all the time.

Firefox.
Who in their right mind uses a welcome sign to mean people who would come into their home uninvited, paid by their neighbors who are using their illegal labor, overrun the neighborhood, and refuse to leave?

I have IE-9. What are the problems of which you speak?
I will probably get Windows 8 soon. I have no idea why except I'm supposed to, and if I don't my one-year old laptop will grind and grind like all my "other" trash heap computers next year...just buying time....I will probably pick up one of the new Mini-Ipads when they come out...looks like a winner..... 95% of any computer is a waste for me anyway.

Thank me later. I am a giver.
