So does Perez Hilton... but that is for another thread.

I spent my youth following Garvey, Lopes, Russell, Cey, Yeager, Sutton, John, etc... That was a team and some good years.

This thread is hilarious; 15 games into the season, and the Dodger fans are already thumping their chests.

Wish you nothing but the best . . .

Uh Red, hate to break this to you after all these year, but the Dodgers LOST to the Yankees in 1977 & 1978 (in 6 games both years) #-o. 1977 was the year Reggie Jackson hit 3 homers on 3 straight pitches, while 1978 was known for Reggies controversial hip move into the throw from Russell to Garvey in game 4.

The Dodgers didn't get their revenge on the Yankees until 1981.

I know. I was being a chump. I actually saw that game when hit 3 out. To really fess up here, I was a Yankee fan but, turned it around 1981.

Yeah, right. Busted. Man up. What a prevaricator. No one can ever believe a word you say.

Chump is right, and you called it yourself.

Holy **** The Dodgers are hitting the hell out of the ball this season!

They lead the Majors in scoring with 93 runs and continue to lead in team average with a healthy .315.

The big three all are producing, big time:

Kemp- Major league leading 7 homers, 20 RBI, .330
Eithier- 4 HR, 14 RBI, .400
Man-Ram- 2 HR, 12 RBI, .421

even Raffy is hitting .356!

Pitching? who needs pitching?

What repercussions?
We are already winning with our crappy payroll. First place looms and so does the prospect of getting a legit ace starting pitcher. Its all good for the real team representing Los Angeles.

Amen to that. I like the angels, but will not pay for another ticket as long as they have LA in their title.
