We are already winning with our crappy payroll. First place looms and so does the prospect of getting a legit ace starting pitcher. Its all good for the real team representing Los Angeles.
Ethier is on the DL.

Responding to repercussions brought up by Rod. My addition to Rod's remarks needed no response... especially one loaded with jerk sauce.

Maybe you should quote Ramon then
That would clear up any confusion on this matter

There was no confusion to your uncalled for jerk response to a Dodger fan from a Dodger fan.

Just found the question posted a year later... but it is a question and not delivered with jerk sauce. It was directed to you and was done with humor... especially since it was delivered in a question format.

No one wants to hear about your jerk sauce. That's just gross old timer.

Wiles,

Are you sure you're sober? You're not making much sense in this here thread.

Why do you say that? I love LA, but the Angels are the Anaheim Angels in my book, and always will be.

I've been a Blue fan since I saw my first game in the Coliseum. My 2 kids and girlfriend are Halo fans and are ready to jump ship and get on our bandwagon ... good to hear there is still room. Party of three please ...

First Place!!

Big Brox came up huge on his bobble head night. The team is looking great after a dismal April where they were 5 games under 500. Now they have the best record in the NL and it appears as though they're firing on all cylinders. A few notable stats thus far:

Jonathan Broxton: 15 saves, .99 ERA, 3-0, and the biggie 42 strikeouts 3 BBs!
Hong-Chih Kuo: 1.06 ERA and STILL has not given up a hit to a lefty
Team: leads the NL in 1 run wins
Carlos Monasterios (Monster): 3-0, 2.27 ERA. Not bad for a rook
Jamey Carroll: .293, and has been a very solid back-up

...and Manny, Kemp, Andre E. are just now starting to re-heat!

So far, so good!
