Harry Reid: Romney ‘couldn’t be confirmed as a dog catcher’

The absurdity of politics. As if Obama has been an open book!
Only 5 more months of this.
Harry Reid: Romney ‘couldn’t be confirmed as a dog catcher’
By Holly Bailey,

President Barack Obama and his Democratic allies have launched a sustained attack this week over Mitt Romney's refusal to release additional tax returns, suggesting the Republican nominee is trying to "hide" something from the American people.

On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid suggested Romney would never win Senate confirmation for a Cabinet position because "he won't show anybody his tax returns." But as Politico reports, Reid took that criticism a step further on Thursday, saying that Romney couldn't even win confirmation to be a "dog catcher."

"He not only couldn't be confirmed as a Cabinet secretary, he couldn't be confirmed as a dog catcher, because a dog catcher ... you're at least going to want to look at his income tax returns," Reid said.

The Romney campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Great line. I knew Harry was good for something....he feels the pulse of the people...the middle class working people...MItt couldn't find a working class person's pulse even if he knew where to look.

Of course the Romney people didn't respond...they wouldn't now how...Rupert Murdoch pointed that out quite clearly a couple weeks ago.

If you're looking towards Harry Reid for good material, you're hurting badly. Accusing Romney of trying to "hide" anything, when we have a President who hides everything from "Fast and Furious", what's actually in the Affordale Health Care Act, to his missing college years might not be the smartest path to choose.

Outstanding soundbite from Reid.

Great find SB.
They told me if I voted for Hillary Clinton the president would be emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable. They were right. I voted for Hillary Clinton and got a president that is emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable.

He's followed the law and doing what's required. Why should he do what the Democrats want. He's out to send the main one back to Chicago.

Would be the final nail in Obama's coffin when the one who couldn't be confirmned as dog catcher beats him. Lip whipping your opponent usually backfires.

I wouldn't be too hard on Harry.

Obviously in the middle stages of Alzheimers, he's liable to say just about anything that pops into his grizzled, gnarled feeble mind.

I agree Dave. He really is a sick person. Somebody said he boxed when he was younger. I say he took too many punches to the head.
Liberalism is like an out-of-control 5 year old at McDonalds. All the talking to and admonishment won't make a difference. They have no concept of right or wrong, they are nothing more than narcissists.
