One wonders why terrorists would attack a regional center for assisting the disabled in San Bernadino...

At any rate, the "latest" is that it was a husband-wife thing, the husband was a disgruntled employee, and the target was a holiday party held in the rented banquet room. If so, it's just another crazy guy with a gun.

A woman who lives in an apartment in Redlands said that she was worried because three or four Middle Eastern men had moved into the apartment next door in the last two weeks. There were numerous packages being delivered and the men were doing something in the garage late into the nights.
Who in their right mind uses a welcome sign to mean people who would come into their home uninvited, paid by their neighbors who are using their illegal labor, overrun the neighborhood, and refuse to leave?

The male shooter who was killed by the cops in the SUV as Sayeed Farouk (sp?) was identified as a devout Muslim by his father.

CNN...... Workplace violence, mental health and too many guns.

FOX....... Terrorist, Muslim extremists and keep out Syrian refugees.

Are they reporting the same story?

Sayeed was the one arrested. The shooters have not been ID.

Yup. Sure enough. C'mon, Faux. ISIS isn't going to consider a county center for developmentally disabled people a high value target.

2 SUSPECTS IN MASSACRE OF 14 IN SOUTHERN CALIF. OFFICE ARE KILLED IN SHOOTOUT WITH POLICE; FBI NOT RULING OUT TERRORISM

A manhunt that began Wednesday morning after as many as three suspects "on a mission" gunned down 14 people at an office holiday* party in San Bernardino, Calif., ended hours later in a dramatic shootout on the town's main drag**, where police killed two of the perpetrators and detained another man who may have been involved. Federal officials have not ruled out the possibility that the attack, carried out with precision by suspects in tactical gear, was an act of terrorism.

The shootout occurred four hours after the massacre at a social services center less than two miles away, and appeared to bring closer to a dramatic conclusion events that gripped Southern California and stoked fears that a Paris-style attack could have occurred on American soil. Two suspects, one of whom was a female, and both of whom were armed with handguns and assault rifles, were killed at the scene of the shootout on San Bernardino Avenue. A third suspect who was seen running from the scene was being held, but police were unsure if he was involved in the attack.

There was some confusion on the identity of the third suspect.

This shooting just does not fall into the template of a workplace shooting or a terrorist attack. I'm now reading that the shooters were wearing go-pro cameras and possibly went home after the shooting to up load the video of the attack to a web site.

http://www.cair.com/
And I saw the CAIR news conference last night just before the police released the names of the killers. :-" I think they know the killer very well. #-o If it comes out that the woman, Tashfeen Malik wears a berka it's game over.

What we know... one day after...

After a mass shooting, a police chase and a shootout, a violent day in San Bernardino, Calif., ended in the death of two suspects, authorities say.

Syed Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, were responsible for the Wednesday morning attack that killed at least 14 people and injured 17, according to San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan. After initial concerns that there could have been a third shooter, police are now confident there were only two.

There's much that remains unclear, including the motives of the shooters and the identities of the victims. But briefings from police reveal an hours-long timeline of events:

The Suspects

Syed Farook, an environmental specialist who was born in the U.S., has worked for the San Bernardino County health department for five years.

Tashfeen Malik was Farook's wife, says Hussam Ayloush of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Malik was born in Pakistan and lived in Saudi Arabia before she married Farook about two years ago, according to Ayloush.

The couple had a 6-month-old daughter, whom they left with Farook's mother on the morning of the attack, Ayloush says.

I don't understand your comment. The Paris murders took place at a restaurant and Concert venue. Both soft targets. If the point is to terrorize, this certainly applies. I still haven't heard if they've figured out the motive.

Listen to the news...it took place in a conference room which is part of this facility and there were people in that conference room that didn't work for IRC.

The killers weren't targeting developmentally disabled people or their caregivers. They were targeting a specific group of people in that conference room.

You all like to post how Fox gets things wrong and out of context. I sure would like to know where some of you are getting your information.

Also, who are the brainiacs in our government who makes it OK for people on the no fly list to be able to buy guns? Obama just spouted that fact yesterday when talking about the problems. Are you seriously telling me that no one in our esteemed government has figured this out before? And if Obama knows it why isn't he getting someone to change it?

Want to fix the gun problem?
Start with little things like that which I can't imagine any legislator being dumb enough not to support. Eventually those little "quirks" in our gun laws will add up.

Like who? I seriously doubt the NRA funded HOR will be much support.

I sure would like to know where some of you are getting your information.

You aren't much for specifics...of whom do you speak? I just went over the thread... your comment was a hip shot, IMO.
