The latest gem from the "other board" :

The shooter was probably Antifa also, which explains why no official information on the shooter has been shared by authorities.

The entire "insurrection" was a pre-planned staged event and yet another Democrat hoax to gaslight the nation in service of their unhinged hatred of Donald Trump and his voters.

This was a statement by someone who claims to be an educator at one of your SoCal religious schools.

It takes a special kind of stupid to believe that lefties would dress up as righties to stop an election from being certified that was won by the left.

You’ve gotta hand it to Antifa for pulling off the greatest scam in history. Not only did they get dressed up like Trump supporters to storm the capitol, they’ve actually been cultivating these alternative personas for years, building up social media profiles as right wing extremists, spawning QAnon etc. some of these Antifa animals even played the role of right wingers so well that they got themselves elected to state and federal government as republicans before showing up for the riots.

It looked like a Black Friday at a Bass Pro shop.

We now know their concern trolling over Blue Lives Matter and respect for the US flag were a facade.

They really do not care about either one.

Republicans are tough on terrorists until the terrorists are republican.

A new book alleges that trump has been a KGB asset for decades...

"Russian intelligence gains influence in foreign countries by operating subtly and patiently. It exerts different gradations of leverage over different kinds of people, and uses a basic tool kit of blackmail that involves the exploitation of greed, stupidity, ego, and sexual appetite. All of which are traits Trump has in abundance.

This is what intelligence experts mean when they describe Trump as a Russian “asset.” It’s not the same as being an agent. An asset is somebody who can be manipulated, as opposed to somebody who is consciously and secretly working on your behalf.

...reporter Craig Unger got a former KGB spy to confirm on the record that Russian intelligence had been working Trump for decades. In his new book, “American Kompromat,” Unger interviewed Yuri Shvets, who told him that the KGB manipulated Trump with simple flattery. “In terms of his personality, the guy is not a complicated cookie,” he said, “his most important characteristics being low intellect coupled with hyperinflated vanity. This makes him a dream for an experienced recruiter.”

From the above:
After President Trump lost the election, he and other government officials said that the presidency had been stolen from him by widespread election fraud. He held rallies designed to inflame his
supporters. His supporters said he would invoke the Insurrection Act to use the military to
ensure his continued presidency despite the election results, which they viewed as fraudulently
reported in large measure because of the rhetoric of the President, his congressional supporters,
and the right-wing media. The report of the potential invocation of the Insurrection Act took
root in the online community of Trump supporters and led many local militias to believe they
would have a role if this were to happen. Ms. Watkins was one of those people. In November,
she believed that the President of the United States was calling upon her and her small militia
group to support the President and the Constitution and she was ready to serve her Country in
that manner. However misguided, her intentions were not in any way related to an intention to
overthrow the government, but to support what she believed to be the lawful government. She
took an oath to support the Constitution and had no intention of violating that oath or of
committing any violent acts. While this does not excuse the actions of the people who engaged
in violence on January 6, 2021, it demonstrates that Ms. Watkins is neither a flight risk nor a
danger to the community.

In the poll, 58 percent of those who voted for Trump in the 2020 presidential election said that the Capitol riots were "mostly an Antifa-inspired attack that only involved a few Trump supporters."

Win or lose, come early 2021, the United States will find itself quite possibly facing an underground of armed white men who will start waging a clandestine war against the constitution itself in the defense of the cult of Donald Trump”

Great day so far for Trump, and it's not even noon:

Supreme Court: Turn over your tax returns to the NY prosecutor.
Supreme Court: Take your idiotic "the election was stolen" case out the door with you on your way out.

Who is tired of winning? Not me!!
Stay loose, and be a little afraid.

Not exactly what they said, but sure. What they said was that they wouldn't hear the case of whether the SCOTUS has the power to overrule a state supreme court's interpretation of a state law because the argument was moot (D's spike ball here). It's actually a very important states rights issue and it will be back. And three Justices - Thomas (R), Alito and Gorsuch - objected to denying it. Kinda scary, actually.

Skimmed over Thomas's dissent. Changes to the "rules" by the Executive or Judicial branches no matter how small, based on common sense or the circumstances created by Covid should be enough to disqualify the voter or the election results. Setting up the argument that laws passed by State Legislators cannot be challenged by the other two branches.

Perfect.

SCOOP: TRUMPS SENDS CEASE-AND-DESIST TO RNC, NRCC AND NRSC. Lawyers for former President DONALD TRUMP sent out cease-and-desist letters Friday to the three largest fundraising entities for the Republican Party — the RNC, NRCC and NRSC — for using his name and likeness on fundraising emails and merchandise, a Trump adviser tells Playbook.
