You had to remember the right constantly calling Obama a liar when the stuff he said was not entirely accurate. It was ridiculous to the point of what seemed to be blind attacks by the right, and blind defense by the left. Objectivity and reason completely left the building.

I don't like puffery any more than the next guy, but we've got to be better than that or we'll end up with another "anyone but him/her" candidate as POTUS again.

Therer's nothing inherently dishonest about being a porn star, though. In fact they have literally nothing to hide anyway, so I'm far more likely to take her word over Trump's.

Despite his claims to the contrary his speech was not seen by the largest viewing audience in history. It's not even as large as the last three presidents.

Good point. Along those lines, 43% of the Democrats that watched it, approved.

That's a very high number. It makes me wonder what they were approving of. And if they still approved after the fact checks came out.

Well, one thing I think it shows (rather than any one or two specific things) is the fact that many Democrats are not fans of the so-called progressive wing of the party, and want to see their party work with the GOP. I don't think the more centrist Democrats are fans of the "RESIST" movement.

The Democratic party is making the same mistake they made in 2016, (and before), they are going to leave the moderates feeling left behind and ignored.

I saw a funny video last night of Donald misreading things. He inserts "and" and then corrects himself and tries to make it sound like he meant to say that. Like, "I was just talking to Omar Bungee... and Omar Bongo. He pronounces it both ways." Add it to your Donald drinking game.
