According to Wabash, Al Capone was never involved in any murders, since he was never convicted of that crime.

And he probably thinks that O.J. is still looking for the real killers of Nicole and Ron.......

John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald were not "guilty" of anything either, since neither was ever tried or convicted.

They both had trials. After significant investigations. There were things like indictments and the presentation of evidence. All the things that go along with due process.

All of the Clinton's accusations have been in the media. After significant investigations, not even one indictment.

Those are not valid comparisons.

They never got to trial. But the evidence was significantly better than that of Hillary.
They told me if I voted for Hillary Clinton the president would be emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable. They were right. I voted for Hillary Clinton and got a president that is emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable.

Actually, the Professor was spot on.

Or we could indulge the fantasy that a Democratic administration couldn't possibly have a political interest in protecting the presumptive Democratic nominee for President, since prosecuting her would open up to discovery the fact that Barack Obama himself had direct contact with her via her private email account and then lied about his knowledge of her private email use on national TV.

No, that would never happen... :giggle:
Judge suggests Justice, State colluded to protect Hillary Clinton in email scandal
A federal judge has raised speculation that Hillary Rodham Clinton and her State Department “colluded” to keep her missing emails secret from the public and courts, an escalation of scrutiny into Obama-era scandal.

Senior District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth in a new memo also called the Clinton email affair “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.”

In it, he demanded that State and Justice work with Judicial Watch, which has sued in the case, to develop an evidence seeking schedule into whether Clinton sought to avoid the federal Freedom of Information Act by using a private email system in her New York home.

Fantasy being the operative word of course...you have no evidence whatever for this load of pure speculation. Keep dreaming.

Care to re-think that statement? If you haven't heard this news, blame the mainstream media and it's bias by omission.
IG Report Shows Obama Lied When He Said He Knew Nothing About Hillary’s Secret E-mail Scheme 'The policy of my administration is to encourage transparency,' Obama told CBS News during the same interview in which he lied.
In 2015, President Obama told America he only learned that his secretary of state Hillary Clinton was illegally using a private email server to conduct public business after The New York Times published a story saying so. Today’s release of a Department of Justice inspector general report shows that was a lie.

“FBI analysts and Prosecutor 2 told us that former President Barack Obama was one of the 13 individuals with whom Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail.com account,” the report says in a footnote on page 89. “Obama, like other high level government officials, used a pseudonym for his username on his official government email account.”

The IG found that Obama was "one of the 13 individuals with whom Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail[.]com account." Now we know why Clinton was never going to be charged with anything related to her secret e-mail scheme. https://t.co/4ERsrp4iga pic.twitter.com/O2EtX8KDis
— Sean Davis (@seanmdav) June 14, 2018

The report also says Obama Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey knew that Obama had lied. It was in 2015 that Obama had disclaimed knowledge that Clinton used a private, rather than government, email address. In 2016, while drafting a public statement explaining why the FBI wouldn’t prosecute Clinton during her run for the presidency, Comey changed the statement’s wording to hide that Obama had communicated with Clinton through her private email address, the report says.

“A paragraph [in Comey’s statement] summarizing the factors that led the FBI to assess that it was possible that hostile actors accessed Clinton’s server was added, and at one point referenced Clinton’s use of her private email for an exchange with then President Obama while in the territory of a foreign adversary,” the IG report says. “This reference later was changed to ‘another senior government official,’ and ultimately was omitted.”

Clinton–Obama Emails: The Key to Understanding Why Hillary Wasn’t Indicted
New FBI texts highlight a motive to conceal the president’s involvement.
From the first, these columns have argued that the whitewash of the Hillary Clinton–emails caper was President Barack Obama’s call — not the FBI’s, and not the Justice Department’s. (See, e.g., here, here, and here.) The decision was inevitable. Obama, using a pseudonymous email account, had repeatedly communicated with Secretary Clinton over her private, non-secure email account.

These emails must have involved some classified information, given the nature of consultations between presidents and secretaries of state, the broad outlines of Obama’s own executive order defining classified intelligence (see EO 13526, section 1.4), and the fact that the Obama administration adamantly refused to disclose the Clinton–Obama emails. If classified information was mishandled, it was necessarily mishandled on both ends of these email exchanges.

If Clinton had been charged, Obama’s culpable involvement would have been patent. In any prosecution of Clinton, the Clinton–Obama emails would have been in the spotlight. For the prosecution, they would be more proof of willful (or, if you prefer, grossly negligent) mishandling of intelligence. More significantly, for Clinton’s defense, they would show that Obama was complicit in Clinton’s conduct yet faced no criminal charges.

That is why such an indictment of Hillary Clinton was never going to happen. The latest jaw-dropping disclosures of text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and his paramour, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, illustrate this point....

IG Report confirms Obama lied about Hillary's emails
One aspect of the Inspector Generals’ report on the FBI handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation has been a bit overshadowed by the media. The fact that President Barack Obama lied to the American people when he claimed he only learned of Hillary Clinton’s use of an unauthorized, non-secure, non-governmental email server while she was Secretary of State....

This is truly a SMH moment.

Dems passed HR 1 that would make Election Day a federal holiday. The idea being that it would be easier for more people to vote.

McConnell is going to shoot it down in the Senate. Labeling it a democratic "power grab."

Voters being able to vote scares the you know what out of the GOP.

Because they know that they don't represent the majority. It's easy to understand, but painful to tolerate. :(

Except election day should be a federal holiday, regardless of who's the majority at the moment, and it should be hyped more than that little football game that's coming up. The consequences really are far greater, don't ya know.

Any of the right side on this board agree with Sen. McConnell? The move to have a voting holiday is a power grab by the left?

HR 1 also has a lot of anti-corruption stuff the Republicans really hate, such as campaign finance reform and beefing up ethics requirements.

It is heartening to see House legislators actually doing important stuff. They may not get far in the Senate or White House, but it puts significant pressure on those groups. Elections have consequences and Repubs better pay attention if they want their party to survive.
