Where, when? He certainly didn't say that yesterday.

My mistake. It was the other senator from KY. Rand Paul.

From The Hill:
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a staunch Trump ally, signaled the House impeachment push would hit a dead end in the Senate.
They told me if I voted for Hillary Clinton the president would be emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable. They were right. I voted for Hillary Clinton and got a president that is emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable.

So, last night Donald implicated Pompeo and this morning's release of the (edited) phone transcript implicates Barr - how long until we get to DeVos?

Geez! And Donald thought the transcript would help his case! :fan:

Trump is chasing talk radio conspiracies by sending Rudy and getting AG Barr involved. Why would he bring up Hunter Biden and the DNC server to the President of Ukraine?

Rudy entering his phone as evidence against himself and Pompeo. The last couple days are sure to set a record for self-owns.

Did your friend explain why, when they discovered what they had done, they asked them to send it back?

Ben Sasse after he'd seen the whistle blower report - "Um... Ya know... You might want to hold off on those talking points."

Well, after reading the whistleblower's report I have to agree that it's very credible and very damaging to trump. He's going to have a very difficult time denouncing this as a partisan attack, and Republicans in general are going to have a tough time swallowing this one.

Very bad news for trump.

It's easy to swallow when the only people and outlets you listen to are deflecting and telling you it isn't credible or damaging. This will fall flat like everything else.

You know, from the bottom of Page 3 and the top of Page 4 of the whistle blower report - and from the Republican defense of someone who, up until then had done absolutely nothing concerning corruption - I get a pretty distinct feeling that Donald bought Lutsenko.

Devin Nunes opening statement in today's hearing and this whole damn episode is all based on information from fringe right wing journalists.

I don't think it will. It seems that trump wasn't the only one involved, and as soon as trump feels threatened enough he'll throw Rudy or Barr under the bus...and I don't think either one of them will go quietly. Rudy in particular has to be squirming a bit right now.
