Someone should have asked what evidence he required in order for him to believe the impeachment bar had been reached. That was never done. Leaving him the ability to keep moving the goal posts. It should have been asked that the White House is obstructing by not handing over documents or witnesses to testify. His soundbites of this being the quickest impeachment in history should have been challenged to ask why duration matters......etc.
