I got a PM tonight about somebody identifying himself only as "a former member" - and who apparently has a giant chip on his shoulder about something - who started a new account only to send out PMs trying to encourage members to leave the board. Now, if you think this board has treated you unfairly or if it hasn't delivered the service you expected, you're free to do whatever you please and you can leave any time you want. Your call.
But his actions pointed out a security issue. I set up safeguards to prevent people from making spam posts many years ago but it didn't occur to me that there were no such safeguards on PMs. There are now and I apologize to anyone who might have been bothered or offended by his messages and anyone who may have received spam PMs in the past.

Is India on lockdown, too? I've deleted 6 spammers today including one who tried to spam this topic. Sheesh!
Don't look at me, I just work here.
