Strange band. They have the best horn section in the business but they have a different singer every time you see them. They should have stuck with the 1st one, IMHO. And they made 4 or 5 really great songs in the early '70s and then went on to put out 20 more records that only horn players could appreciate - if that.

I've seen Tower of Power probably 10 times in small jazz clubs with their horn section cramped on to little stages but just blowing the top off of the club.
