Will we see Kobe on the medal stand next August in Rio?

Luca wrote:If I had to pick five, I'd go with Kobe and Magic, Chamberlain at center (you wouldn't need that much offense from him and he's the better rebounder and defender), and I might be tempted to use Gasol instead of either Baylor or Worthy because of his rebounding and size, but probably not. That's a dream team..................Luca
Who to put at center is a never-ending debate, all three of those guys had there own unique unstoppable talents. It's hard to argue with Magic and Kobe at guard, but you have to find a place for Zeke from Cabin Creek, The Logo, Mr. Clutch...all-league defense and a 29-ppg avg. in the playoffs...

If he accepts a role as mentor and elder statesman, which I think he will, I think it's a no-brainer

I think he's probably a shoo-in with that coaching staff.

I don't think the staff matters - no one else other than maybe Tim Duncan can offer his experience and leadership...basically the last links to the Jordan era
