Dad always has the most comprehensive and fact-rich posts. If anyone knows MD Football, past and current, it's MDDad.

eskimow - the years Servite did well with Thomas were years they received some pretty good transfers. From what I understand, the new S & C coaches are pretty good.

It's baffling how some people can fabricate things out of thin air and pass them off as factual.

well still, Scott Prohaska was a major factor in MD becoming a National Powerhouse again, I highly doubt they would have if Prohaska hadn't arrived to MD.

I highly doubt they would have if Daniels, Young, St Brown, McCoy, Ricks, dominant linemen, etc, etc, etc hadn’t arrived at MD.

Bryce Young was the only transfer of those athletes right? Also, it makes you wonder, raise eyebrows, as to why MD didn't attract elite talent in the years before those athletes arrived, it makes you wonder if MD did some off the field activity, that lured those athletes to attend MD.

Correct that Young is the only transfer in the names above. By ‘arrived’ I mean enrolled at the school, either as a freshmen or transfer.

Bru McCoy and JT Daniels, if I remember correctly, are the only 2 who grew up playing youth football together, pop warner, junior all-American? or any others of those key very talented MD players? The Inland Empire Ducks has recently been the feeding Football factory to MD as of recent years I believe.

were Bru McCoy, JT Daniels, the only MD players that had a previous relationship, or playing experience together, prior to MD? or did any of the other key talented MD players on that elite, monster 2017 team, play together along with JT Daniels and Bru McCoy in their pre-high school days?

also, which article, because I hope to find, where they said that the 2017 MD team, was the best in CIF history? because I like to see other elite, historic high school teams of California from the past, that are compared to the 2017 MD team.

MD 34 St. Frances 18, another sign that most people have zero idea of what they are talking about when it comes to their hope downfall of MD Football

yup, that says a lot, anyway, specifically, what lured Scott Prohaska to MD away from Servite?

I don’t know for sure if he left or not but anyone who has attended open house and listened to the athletic block instructors talk about conditioning and nutrition you know he has made an impact and at the school. My kids have had excellent instruction and developed as athletes and people. It is truly a great program overall.

Prohaska was at the game last night on MDs sidelines for all those really concerned.

It’s a good thing too, because obviously the Monarchs have shriveled up like Popeye without his spinach since Scot left.

The biggest, most intimidating collection of HS talent in America must have just been distracted by all that red out there on Saturday night.

it makes me wonder if he had a fallout, falling out with the Servite administration, or just MD made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
