If he has F's, he couldn't play anywhere (even MD/Bosco.) You know that.

I thought that was fairly obvious

Ok, why haven’t we seen a Bosco, MD, Servite, MV recruiting/transfer post in a while. Are the rosters set? Has the salary cap been reached already?

Don't worry we still have the Summer for transfers.

It was my understanding they would want the guys to play spring ball.

That is preferable indeed. I am not a CIF rules guru but I know some Summer transfers need to sit out 5 games. But I think whether or not there was a change of address impacts this. I'm sure others here can better answer this.

It's been explained several times before, but here it is again. First, it makes no difference whether the athlete transfers in the spring or summer, insofar as the sit-out period is concerned.

(1) If an athlete is transferring into a public school, he and his family must make a permanent change of residence into the enrollment area of that public school. If he already lives in the enrollment area, he must still make a permanent change of residence into a new home within that enrollment area.

(2) If an athlete is transferring into a private school, he and his family must make a permanent change of residence out of the public school enrollment area in which they live, and into any other public school enrollment area.

(3) If the athlete does not make the required change of residence, he must sit out what is called "the first month of the season of sport". For football, that has been determined to be five games.

It is my understanding that 2021 (FOLSOM HS) QB Ari Patu has enrolled at Mater Dei.

So @B.B., appears rosters are still in motion, caps not reached.

you can count on it once Albano posts it. He doesn't play the rumor game, he confirms with the admin at MD.

Sounds like SM is knocking on everyone’s door and seeing who will transfer to them. Latest transfers are from Corona Centennial WR Jermey Naborne and talented WR Seven McGee.
Sounds like the first kid has had a change of heart and returning to Cen10. And from my understanding Seven has returned to NY. I just hope the kid can play in college.

That MD money is large, large.
The offensive backfield is thicc.
Only thing stopping md will be jealousy about not getting the ball. 4 d1 dudes at rb. 3 d1 dudes at wr. #scary

"Friends, Family, Coaches, and Fans...

It is with great excitement that I announce that I’ll be attending and playing for the number one program in the nation, Mater Dei High School, for the remainder of my high school career."

So kids are doing formal announcements about transferring to another high school? Is that what is happening now? Dear god.
