Yea you're probably right and Durant too~44~ wrote:
Check Lamars playoff scoring last year. Couple that with the fact that he demanded to be traded and he left Buss with NO options. See Lamars past to see how well he does when he is unhappy, Clips should know all about that.
I'm thinking Howard next year and a PG before the deadline.

Re: Clippers-Lakers
we'll see if Brown can shore up the Lakers defense by tomorrows final pre season game. Bynum's out for the first 5 games from the Barrea incident in the play-offs but I don't think getting off to a rough start is going to kill anyone in the west. Utah is down, Phoenix is down, Portland who know's but their best player retired, SA getting old, Clippers up, Dallas tough, OK tough, NO ? Minnesota weak, Sac, GS, Memphis and the rest who knows.

Re: Clippers-Lakers
I expect both teams to try and win hard tonight. I'm not sure whether the Lakers are going to play Bynum big minutes in lieu of he won't be available for the first 5 games or work on their rotation with out him. Either way due to the circumstances of the shortened season and pre season this game means a lot fan wise for the Clippers. I wouldn't be surprised if prideful Kobe doesn't put up 40 tonight

Re: Clippers-Lakers
I don't know about the Clips going to the playoffs, but I do believe the Lakers are in decline. Jackson's gone, Kobe has his personal life in shambles, and Artest ... er, World Peace ... has yet to rise above a mediocre skill level.oceanvue wrote:Shoot I already ordered my Lob City t-shirts and now the have Lob Angeles Clippers shirts available. Man I'm loving this i hope we at least make the play offs
I say Bulls take them down resoundingly on Opening Day, too. I think it will be embarassing for the Lakers.

Clippers ran away from the Kobeless Lakers in the third quarter and won the second X game.
Kobe is nursing a torn ligament in his shooting wrist....that can't be good at all. Playing in the season opener is iffy.
NB..the only center the Celtics have left is Jermaine O'Neal....not much joy in Beantown...Patriot D-man Andre Carter is out for the season. Not good. Lots of football and basketball this weekend....HOOOOWEEEE!!!

Re: Clippers-Lakers
well there is a lot of Laker fans, maybe the most by any sport team anywhere which is one of the reasons it makes it tough to attract and retain players to the Clippers (red headed step child syndrome) There's a big contingent of 20 and 30 something sport fans that are just rebellious enough to get sucked into to the vortex known as Clippermania those are the ones we're patrolling the perimeter for. We need them to propagate the species and keep the queen bee aliveParrotpaul wrote: The many decades old Laker monopolies on LA winning and fans may be seriously challenged this season.
Are Laker fans purer fans than Clipper fans?
