Rollinson's last game as MD head coach?

Postby cruiser » Sat Dec 16, 2017 12:02 pm

An OC Register article by Steve Fryer thinks there is a 50-50 chance that Rollnson will retire after
tonight's game especially if MD wins per an interview recently with him, thoughts?

Fryer is a liberal, so fake news is not out of his scope of work.
Liberalism is like an out-of-control 5 year old at McDonalds. All the talking to and admonishment won't make a difference. They have no concept of right or wrong, they are nothing more than narcissists.

I wouldn't be surprised with only a RB, WR, and Lineman returning from the starting offense next year. The plan might have been for one more year but with so much transition taking place this could be it. No other way to go out than on top with a state and national title!

MD graduates a lot but it’s not as if the cupboard is bare. They have lots of talented players to fill voids. There will be a marked drop off from this year in the trenches and WR but they will still be very good. Based on returning talent with experience the prohibitive favorite next year is Bosco.

Well, actually they have five returning O starters for next year, the QB, OL, TE, and Harper and Street
are interchangeable as starters, Kody Epps soph wr) aslo started a couple of games,I believe
(additionally though MD does not use a FB much, Syrr Barnes (jr) is the FB starter)

I highly doubt rollo is done. What else is he going to do. Although he does complain heavily about the current parents in his program. He has a lot of issues with the prima-donna IE duck kids.

JT is done, we will have that confirmed in the next few days, weeks at most.
They have 1 returning lineman but have 1 other future star in Freshman Miki-han.
The TE will probably be used more next year. Harper at RB. Street is leaving, he is a seldom used RB his high on the year was 9 carries against us in a blow-out. Last week in the finals he had 3 carries. He is to good to not get the ball.

But MD has already been hitting the recruiting trail. Bruce Young the qb from cathedral is coming in. Parents new place to live, monthly stipend and tuition waiver has been approved.

MD will have about 8 or 9 returning starters on offense next year. 3 from MD and 5 or 6 that were starters at other schools. :steam:

In the meantime we are having a mass exodus at servite. Good ole high school football.

It does not matter who Mater Dei graduates they will fill their holes with junior and senior transfers like they did this year.

Retire Bruce. You've tainted your program. This is no different than McKnight's Basketball titles. Mercenary ball. Bought and paid for. Catholics not involved. This is so much different than the way you used to win it's sad.

wow seriously? he is 50-50 on retiring or not? and if it does end up happening, MD will have had 2 great Coaches retire, because Segesman, MD Boys Water Polo Coach retired.

Segesman is still coaching MD's girls' water polo this season. He's just not coming back next season. Sounds like he is burnt out and needs a life change, which is understandable. I'm sure MD will have no trouble finding a top coach to step into the program. Lot's of talent at MD in water polo boys and girls.
