2018 Free agency

Postby credofriar » Mon Jan 08, 2018 12:05 am

Tomorrow is the first official day of free agency.

Congrats to MD for their major signings.
Lots of money was spend, thats for sure.

Multiple all-state players/national recruits.

Hopefully they schedule USC since that will be the only team in California that can beat them.

Looks like Mater Dei picked up two more 4 star transfers in RB Sean Dollars and CB/WR Jeremiah Crindell from Rancho Cucamonga. I guess CIF will continue to turn a blind eye.

I wonder if this means one, or both, of the quality running backs they have coming back will be leaving.

We are working on a big time trade right now with the abundance of running backs.

MD looks to be set already on offense and their defensive backfield will be insane with Ricks, Alefosio, Warren and now Cridell.
They could use some more studs at DL and LB. They have impact players already in Ware-Hudson who sat out tho s past season and Funa. They should trade a RB for a DLineman or LB!!

I'm sure the Monarchs have enough in the bank account to cover the luxury tax.

CredoFriar, Your second kid transferred out of Servite. How is he doing? Appears his season went well.

Crindell is also a top notch receiver, that makes sense.
Do wonder why Dollars would transfer in, will have to wait and see who transferred out, etc

Both Crindell and Dollars are solid four stars by all the major prep rating systems.

What do you think of your decision to send your kids to Mater Dei now, Mr.& Mrs. Freedland, Mr.& Mrs. Harper, and Mr.& Mrs.Street?

Who's next?
Well, obviously we have giant butterflies in CA. They's climbin' in your windows, They's snatchin' your people up, tryin' to steal 'em. So y'all need to hide your kids, hide your stars, and hide your coaches cause they're grabin' everybody out here.

JB
Too bad if you are correct, Street would also be 4 stars if he got the touches, however a pass first offense
makes it difficult.

He would already be at JSerra if that is the case, Today is the first day of the second semester,
I'm sure Rollinson and staff will have it in hand by the start of next FB season.

The elite teams now need at least two if not three exceptional rb's to interchange
during the games.

This HAS to be some kind of sick joke right?!? Please tell me this isn't true. These two seniors-to-be are still listed as playing for RC. Can someone confirm this? If true, what has happened to this program? Bruce - what are you doing to your legacy?? You don't want to go out like this. You don't want the program you built from the ground-up and worked so hard to maintain for so many damn years to be remembered for this kind of thing. This makes me sick.

"my sources say Street is transferring to JSerra."

Sadly, I think your sources are correct. JSerra too is stocking up. A QB is on the way there as well.

Rivals website now has both of them listed as attending Mater Dei.

So, what's going on at the school that started the whole thing, any rumors; they are
pretty quiet over there.

Your sources are wrong...kid lives in Corona you actually think his parents want to move again? He will end up at CC or Norco...

Norco would be a good fit. He's a heck of a back.
