Thats a good question.???? Usually, they are in a couple. It looks like they are spending a ton of time at 7 on 7 tourneys.
It kind of seems like over kill. Do you really need to do every 7 on 7 tournament that is happening?

Cdm’s John Humphrey’s picks up an offer from USC. I still think he ends up at Stanford.

Offer Tracker: USC offers several 2020s after second Elite Camp
https://247sports.com/college/usc/Artic ... 119245239/

Looks like Junior Hump is on a roll.... this analysis from last weeks USC ELITE CAMP for the underclassmen is all telling why USC jumped on the 6'5" Junior WR. With EIGHT Pac-12 offers on the table before he hits the field as a Junior..., gotta say one of OC's "HOTTEST" recruit!

When you are on the USC TROJAN campus and the words "arguably the top recruit on Howard Jones Field" that day are spoken it didn't take long to get out the pen and paper! #FightOn

2020 WR John Humphreys

Corona del Mar, Calif.
Corona del Mar High
6-foot-5, 205 pounds

"Another four-star prospect in attendance on Thursday, Humphreys was arguably the top recruit on Howard Jones Field. The 6-foot-5 Humphrey adds USC to offers from Stanford, Cal, Duke, Oregon, California, Oregon State and UCLA. Stanford has the only Crystal Ball projection. Humphreys is rated the No. 268 overall recruit in 2020 and the No. 54 wide receiver in the 247Sports Composite. The junior had a huge sophomore season for the Sea Kings, recording 55 catches for 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns. He had 72 tackles and two interceptions on the defensive side of the ball."

CdM’s Mark Redman becomes elite football prospect

With offers now from UCLA and MICHIGAN along with Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Utah State, San Jose State and Colorado State, Mark Redman 6' 6" 255 lb. TE is on a recruiting roll before he hits the field for his Junior year.

CDM's Offensive Coordinator Kevin Hettig had this to say about Redman,

“He’s got exceptional hands,” Hettig said. “I think people just see him as a big dude and don’t think he has the technical side, and he really does. He’s not a tight end that was converted from a lineman, and he’s not a tight end that was converted from a wideout. He was born to play the position.

SUNDAY @ UCLA

UCLA's final summer camp this Sunday invited a few underclass men to the "SENIOR SHOWCASE" and again CDM WR John Humphries shined......

Top performers from UCLA senior showcase camp
https://247sports.com/ContentGallery/Co ... 19320641_4

"Alpha Dog" honors went to Mater Dei's DB William Nimmo,

"The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back was stellar in coverage all afternoon and drew praise from assistant coach Paul Rhoads for his physicality. Nimmo won most of his reps and fared well against speedy receivers as well as bigger tight ends who unsuccessfully tried to body him up down the middle of the field. The Bruins offered following the camp and should now be considered a major contender for the commitment."

Coming in right behind Nimmo was CDM's WR John Humphries,

"The class of 2020 athlete was impressive as not only a downfield threat, but also very technical on shorter routes and just a handful for defensive backs to cover. Humphreys has strong hands and can go up for the ball, making him a matchup nightmare anywhere near the red zone."

The accolades and recruiting coverage keeps coming for John Humphrys. Todays

CdM’s John Humphreys a person of interest for college football recruiters

"What I found interesting here is the first real coverage of John's defensive skills and ability. Like his older brother he is a menace on defense and cover as well as knock your socks off.

A rising junior, Humphreys has played wide receiver and free safety throughout his career with the Sea Kings. He said that colleges have taken a look at him on both sides of the ball.
Those who have looked at Humphreys from a defensive standpoint have discussed the possibility of him moving to strong safety or outside linebacker. With two years of high school remaining, there is no telling where Humphreys’ body will fill out to.

Sea Kings coach Dan O’Shea believes that strength and conditioning coach Tony Thornton gives CdM one of the best weight rooms in Orange County. That would be hard to argue with Humphreys and Mark Redman looking like imposing blockers on the outside in the running game."

It's a known fact MD didn't want Humphreys..."doesn't fit our new system"
Now we'll hear the CdM backers scream "no he wanted to stay home with his friends!"
MD didn't want his friends either. MD 2018 wouldn't want Duke's Humphreys either.
Now we'll hear the MD misleads boast about what a player Ben was and three stripe idiocracy.
Times change. Head Coach's principles change. Kids don't.
MD : "big business - small ethics"
U R NOT WELCOME HERE.

CP3 must be one sick athlete at his size.... just very curious how that translates at upper levels --:--

J. Hump would be awesome to see at MD, SJB or IMG because I have not seen anyone stopping him so far this summer on any field from 7v7 to Elite and Rival camps. And by the way I'm content he will only see them next summer and on the NCAA gridiron... cuz he staying' home boyz!

CP3 is a tremendous athlete, and he is doing vs the best in the nation. You can probably catch a glimpse when he goes against a couple top notch receivers vs Calabasas, Micah Pittman, and Johnnie Wilson, during pre season.
I guess size didnt matter to Nick Saban at Alabama.

If he covers both Pittman and Williams he is "SUPERMAN"! Williams is 6'5" and Calabasas has a nice trio in their passing game. Should be a great matchup.

Could be the next "Hottest Recruit" in OC..... Getting a offer from USC as a FRESHMAN! REALLY! Very impressive to say the least.

USC-offered Domani Jackson leads impressive Mater Dei freshman class

https://www.ocregister.com/2018/07/20/u ... socialflow

MISSION VIEJO: "Did the reigning national champion with almost everything a team could desire also attract the best incoming freshman class?

It was hard not to come to that conclusion last weekend after watching Mater Dei freshman safety Domani Jackson seal a 23-7 victory in the finals of the Mission Viejo passing tournament with an interception.

Jacskon (6-1, 170) leaped to pick off a pass by none other than St. John Bosco star quarterback DJ Uiagalelei.

Yes, that’s how the freshman introduced himself to the hottest rivalry in SoCal football.

“It was an amazing feeling. Real good,” Jackson said of the interception. “It was exciting picking off DJ. Pretty cool.”

Jackson’s interception wasn’t a fluke. He holds offers USC, San Jose State, Iowa State, Colorado State, Liberty and Louisiana-Lafayette.

Earlier in the summer, Jackson generated the offers by attending showcases at USC and Sam Houston State in Texas.

“Very shocking,” Jackson said of the offers."

Here is what I read as even MORE shocking!

"But Jackson wasn’t the only freshman who has shined last weekend for Mater Dei. The Monarchs played three other 9th graders, including cornerback Josh Hunter."
