I had given thought to post as well Fordama yet held reservation as to how quickly the issue and story will find it's way into a political debate over the heroics of this fine gentleman and coach. The AD was killed as well. Godspeed to all those in Parkland whom fell victim to this horrendous action taken by a sick, depressed and problems individual.

While there's plenty political about the entire incident, that should be on the politics board.

This reminds me of the Columbine shooting in which the girl's basketball coach shepherded kids to safety before being shot.

I like to think one goes into coaching and teaching because they love kids. Coach showed his love and gave his life. RIP...
BTW he left behind and little girl.

He would certainly get my vote. I salute you Coach Feis!
Well, obviously we have giant butterflies in CA. They's climbin' in your windows, They's snatchin' your people up, tryin' to steal 'em. So y'all need to hide your kids, hide your stars, and hide your coaches cause they're grabin' everybody out here.

Amen! What a stud.
