Yeah, because Vietnam is just like North Korea...their economies are similar, their populations are similarly well educated, and their climates and geography are nearly identical..the only difference is the nukes.

I agree that NK could do a lot better if it opened itself up to the rest of the world, but I don't know that complete denuclearization is absolutely essential to that. It would be preferable but dropping the threat of using them would probably do just as well if its borders were open and it began industrializing and trading with the rest of the world.

Donald's too damned dumb to realize it but the country that compares better to Viet Nam is actually Venezuela. They're very similar countries but he and Republicans are too busy blaming socialism for its problems instead of rampant corruption and amateurish leadership. An honest, professional, socialistic government might show the same results there that it did in Viet Nam.

This got me thinking about Trump and his followers. The most important lesson is that strong leaders do what they have to do. Deep inside Trump and his followers admire Kim.
