I agree he would be a great addition to any team. He has very good instincts.

I do not see his name on this years roster.

Sad to see todays HS athlete and mental toughness. When the going gets tough, the weak get going. Kids these days dont want to compete, if they arent starting, they transfer. TEAM players, ROLE players, CIF champions?
GONE, GONE, GONE!
Its a pattern , that most likely will carry over into their adult life.

I disagree. I dont feel like this is the type of pattern that will carry over to adult life.

For the most part, I have agreed with the players decision to transfer. Very rarely have I been left scratching my head and wondering why they made that move.

Not sure it's all mental toughness.. I think is more parents influence ..... especially at the privates when you have scholarship kids that come rollin in, or the kid that has the parents throwin around $$.... I've seen it several times where talent being equal, the scholarship kid or the kid with the $$ parents who have influence at the school gets the start.... I've had 2 kids through a private FB program over the last five years and do the volunteer work and see what goes on....

My god. Please tell me you’re joking.
The examples of such abound.
Are you blind or just ignorant?
Are you a father?
A dumbfounding statement, the ignorance of such I can’t fathom.

It's a new day in the job market and the kids coming out of college are affected by behaviors like this...where I think the biggest change is with Parents and their sense of being their kids advocate beyond college... hearing it a lot lately that parents are calling and showing up to HR when their kids don't get an interview, get hired, promoted, or reprimanded....

I read an article a couple weeks ago about the teenage pregnancy rate being lower than it's been since the early 1950's. Over-parenting was one of the theories (not that that's a bad thing in that case). It said that a lot of kids are taking until their twenties to reach the stage of independence that most of us old folks reached in our teens.

Yeah, I've heard the same thing about parents going to job interviews and calling their kids' bosses. Crazy.
Don't look at me, I just work here.

Kids do not date anymore and they do not know how to socialize (in Person) only electronically. Makes it difficult to get pregnant. Furthermore the college age kids in at least the inland empire have NO idea who the Governor is or what is 20% of 150. I know I test them before I hire them.

We are two days away from the start of the season for most. Can anyone confirm if Sefita Tupe or Moses Sepulona is still on the MD roster. Today Dan Albano listed Sefita as the # 5 lineman in the county and playing for Mater Dei. Moses was listed over the weekend in the Register's top 150 players as also still being at Mater Dei. Yet neither is listed on the roster Mater Dei posts online and neither seems to be in the team photo online (although it is hard to see). If it were an injury, grades or disciplinary issue you would think they would still be in the team picture. Anyways, would love to know if anyone has the scoop.

I was told by a parent that neither of the players are currently with the team right now. He's not sure if it's permanent.

it's gonna be interesting to know who is gonna be MD's next QB after Bryce Young graduates, probably gonna be another elite transfer.
