D-3 Football and Orange County

Postby hit the lights » Fri Sep 13, 2019 6:09 am

D-3 football is shaping up to be a pretty tough division. With Grace Brethren demolishing Oaks Christian, and CDM
beating some good teams, La Habra has beat Defending D-2 CHAMP in Upland, while being tested vs some other top programs. Other Orange county teams that will be and are notoriously tough are...
Tesoro
Edison
Los Al
out of county teams like Cajon, Alemany, St. Francis, Lawndale, Cathedral, Westlake, all bring big challenges.
Got to say, California football is pretty damn good!!
your thoughts on D-3 and the rest, D-4 and Villa Park, lock for CIF??

D3 finals should be grace and cdm. Alemany and la habra also pose a threat. Cif polls have it pretty accurate.
Los al is a current dumpster fire. Cathedral is poorly coached and only throws the ball although they have the most talent.
Tesoro is well coached and could sneak in the final 4 on coaching.

Credo-
It looks that way right now. I would like to see a CDM vs LA HABRA game.
Depending on brackets, and this being D-3 now, La Habra should get out of the first round, then face a solid team in week 2.
When it comes to beating the big boys, its been tough for the highlanders. Can they do it this year in D-3?
I cant imagine CDM has a more talented team than Calabasas, which LH had the game with 5 min remaining.
They can do it, but will they??
