The schedule you are seeing is not complete. I don't see the Trinity League classic listed on their schedule but thats probably getting cancelled

Thanks, Kuppster - The way things are going, even if there is a HSFB season,
played with no spectators, MD could end up playing eight games in the regular season, there would be no out of state teams coming to CALI unless Newsom's rules change...

Heard on Albano's T league podcast with Scott B...JSerra has a tough slog, winless in league, lucky to win a game on their schedule...Oh how the mighty have fallen...

This prob happened cause they prob had all these star athletes on scholarship and they left because neither they are their parents had any vested interest in the school/sports program. Left after one bad season. This is what happens when you try to turn a program into Bosco/MD. Soon might happen at Servite after they have one bad season...

QB play biggest reason their season was sub-par. With adequate play they beat St Josephs and Servite and go 8-3.

One bad season? JSerra lost to Bosco, MD, Servite, and Centennial. All very good teams. This is the problem with the Trinity League, it's either National Championship or nothing. The bottom half of the Trinity League would win 80% of the other leagues in OC but that is not good enough. A bunch of kids transferred when they realized they couldn't compete with MD/Bosco.

In-league transfers are the worst, they make the league even more unbalanced than it already is. Does anybody care about a late season match-up of Servite/Olu/SM/JSerra? The Trinity League games are pretty much irrelevant other than 1 or 2 games.

Sam Baker has stepped down as co-OC at JSerra. The grapevine has told me that Harlow can be tough to work with.

Is this confirmed? You can’t always believe everything on Maxpreps. If yes it’s great they got St. Louis. Now let’s hope that they are actually able to play it.

Watcher - Your political/personal views aside, does filling the stands with hundreds/thousands of people shoulder-to-shoulder before we have a vaccine just to watch a football game really sound like a good idea to you?

St. Louis will come into this game with a lot of Hype (like Bishop Gorman and Centennial these past few years) with all these D1 committed athletes listed on their roster and MD will have no problem with them.

MD and Bosco obviously have unfair advantages over every team in California with their all-star rosters (hmmmm, San Clemente and Narbonne, which are both public schools, are busted for “recruiting” but I’m sure no shady recruiting practices happen at these private school powerhouses 😃). They should turn their programs into IMG academy programs and not participate in state playoffs and play a Nationwide schedule against the other big private schools across the country. Maybe that would spread out more star athletes to public schools and smaller private schools in So Cal and increase more competition throughout OC, LA and the IE. It would make the playoffs more exciting.

I don’t know about all of you, but I’m tired of Bosco vs Mater Dei CIF Division finals and MD/Bosco vs Concord DLS in State Championships.

If that's for real, a trip to HI to play last year's state champ would be nice, hope it comes off...

On the MD football Facebook page none other than the coach’s wife said the schedule posted on Maxpreps is wrong.

Was she any more specific than that? What was wrong, only the STL game?

Just that it is not accurate. I believe it is just the St. Louis game. The other 4 nonleague games have all been confirmed by the other team.

Then watch the lower division games and leave us alone. We like watching the best go against the best.

Welp...could it be possible that Servite takes down a giant in league? Or this years Diablos?

Me, I’m thinking Hell yes! So there’s that...

Why not? Bosco always has trouble with Servite and the Friars should beat MV this year since they'll be a little fresher having not gone through league yet.

Anything can happen.

They both play by the rules. Go whine to CIF-SS if you have a problem with the rules, and leave us in peace.
