Beware of enchanted blunt objects

Post by John Q. Public » Tue Apr 07, 2020 7:21 pm

Attention criminals! Do not try to break into a cop's house. When he's home. And he's a wizard.

Simi Valley.
On April 3rd, 2020 at approximately 5:40 AM, in the area of Sequoia Ave. and Los Angeles Ave., an off duty Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Deputy noticed the backyard light to his residence was not working. The homeowner then observed a male suspect crouched down by the rear slider, attempting to gain entry. The Suspect, later identified as Elpidio Peralta, 42 years old and a Simi Valley resident, was detained by the homeowner.

During the detention, the homeowner’s dog bit Peralta on the left foot. Peralta also received a small cut on his forehead when he lunged towards the homeowner and was struck by a blunt object. Peralta was medically cleared and booked into Ventura County Main Jail for Attempt Burglary.
