I’d say that would be Liz. Maaaaaybe Kamala

Agree, but my gut is telling me he's leaning towards Klobuchar...

Well, thanks to a slip of the tongue the dynamic has changed. It now looks like he's almost gotta go with Kamala D. Harris, Val Demings or Stacey Abrams...all good choices, BTW

...although the one I'd really like to see him pick, Susan Rice, apparently isn't interested

You get a taste of how the sane republicans feel when Trump speaks.

I like Rice and I think she'd make a better cabinet member than any of Trump's appointees but I think she'd be an awful pick for the campaign.

And I think Harris would be good for the campaign and as a successor but I wonder about her in the actual role of Vice President. She seems a little too "ambitious" for the job. I could see Demings or Abrams in the role, though. If I were putting money on it, I think I'd go with Abrams since she wouldn't be vacating an elected position.
Don't look at me, I just work here.

Barring any unknown issues, I'm going with Demings.
