Will be interesting to see if Matt Logan and the Huskies can get the machine recalibrated back to juggernaut mode after that shocking L to Norco.

Would normally put them down for easy wins against all non-MD/Bosco teams on the slate, but even with the talent collection they have they may struggle to beat Cathedral, Poly and Sierra Canyon if they don’t improve for the fall.

Logan and his staff are so good, Spring 2021 was likely just a blip with a bunch of young kids and a bland all Big 8 schedule for them, but we shall see. Norco earned that win, Saturday day game or not.

The Norco game was just a blip this year. Cen10 had a young team and lost key players to injuries or graduating early.
Their games that intrigue me next year are Cathedral Catholic and Sierra Canyon. This Spring those 2 teams were legit but I’m not sure how much they return next season.

Yeah not to discredit Norco with their victory but it was a perfect storm for them lol. Cen10 will be fine in the fall. They only had 7 or 8 seniors last season so everyone will be returning. They do have a tough schedule per usual but as we know that’s how Logan likes it.

You do mean tough PRE SEASON right?

Their league is a joke for a team of Cent. pedigree.

No, we do mean nonleague games. Preseason games as just scrimmages that don’t count. Cen10 has no control over their league schedule. Their nonleague schedule is stacked with MD, CC, SC, and Poly.

I'm curious as to what "key injuries " CC had? Norco started 17 underclassmen and were just as young. Problem was Norco was hitting them in the mouth and they didn't know how to respond. Give credit where credit is due...and stop with the excuses for CC

Norco definitely deserves their props as they outplayed Cen10. Cen10 QB was injured playing club football. At least that is my understanding. It would have helped to have Corey Foreman also.

Not true. CC had their starting QB for the game..Logan just likes to rotate QBs....Agreed Forman would have made a difference...how much we will never know..he would have matched up with our four year starter D1 offensive tackle

San Clemente Tritons 2021 Schedule

Oceanside
@ Torrey Pines
@ La Costa Canyon
Corona Del Mar
@ Edison
Murrieta Valley
Loyola
San Juan Hills
Tesoro
@ Mission Viejo

Six home games for one town, one team. A ton of talent to replace.

I like the nonleague games with Loyola, CDM, Edison and Murrieta Valley and the season finale at MV.

The season begins August 20th. Right around the corner.

#BraveNation Schedule is OUT

Bosco v. Alemany Game 2 August 27 after the Braves just stole 2 of the Warriors’ best players LOL. Might as well play the entire game with a running clock. And start the running clock in pregame for Amat.

The Nike Kickoff Classic will be one of the ESPN matchups against another behemoth HS program loaded with top prospects. Surely Negro is angling for a game that will boost his national title resume if they can run the table, or even if they go 1-1 v. MD. Will likely be on the road this time, since they hosted DeMatha (MD) on ESPN in 2019. Cant be IMG unfortunately per CIF outlaw, but maybe a St Thomas Aquinas rematch from the 9-6 OT clunker in 2017? I personally hope it’s a Texas powerhouse like Westlake/Duncanville/Southlake Carroll/North Shore that’s finally willing to play Bosco/MD instead of ducking them? Maybe St Frances from Baltimore wants another run at the Trinity Lg? Not many high school teams in the United States on Bosco’s level, outside of MD, so hopefully ESPN can link them up in a game worth watching.

Bosco also hosting Illinois state champ and perennial powerhouse/prospect factory E. St. Louis, and then traveling cross country to face one of the best teams in Virginia in Oscar C Smith - on back to back weeks in pre-league.

Oh, and that little game on October 1 in the Trinity Lg opener should be a good matchup. Not to mention a 3rd crack at knocking off the Braves for Troy Thomas/Fifita/TMac in the League finale v. Servite, after close losses the last two seasons (why is this game being played at Bosco in both the Spring AND Fall?)

An appropriate slate for maybe the most talented roster in America ...

Bosco is definitely playing one of the Florida powerhouses in that Nike Classic. I believe it is STA.

STA is always loaded with the next Michael Irvin or Bosa brother, and that would be an even matchup, especially if it’s played in mid August in the brick oven weather of south Florida again.

But I’d personally rather see them play one of the Texas teams named above, just to shut up all the sh-tkicker-wearing, 10 gallon hat, Jerry Jones wannabes who think Bosco and Mater Dei can’t compete with the Texas HS Football elite.

So it looks like JSerra is going back to Saddleback (now that it's been rebuilt)? Can anyone confirm this...wish they would have stayed on campus.

Are all the Kickoff Classic games being played on the Nike campus in Beaverton, where they used to have The Opening? That would be a great experience for the kids. If so, with MD being an even longer standing Nike brand high school program, I’d be surprised if Uncle Phil didn’t invite them too ...
