Re: Long Beach Poly division 4
Anyone see a correlation between the rise of Bosco and the fall of LB Poly since the arrival of Jason Negro?
Bosco was basically a trinity league doormat before his arrival and then BOOM a national power.
At the same time Poly ( a football factory ) now is Div #4?
How did Bosco get SOOO good so quickly while Poly got SOOOO bad?
Think about that the next time you MD haters accuse MD of "recruiting "

LOL there are so many former LBP football alumni I've spoken to who are downright vitriol and filled with hate at SJB and Coach Negro for decimating "one of the most storied public football programs in the country".

Well you can't really expect LBP fans who drive Raul Lara out of there to understand...that was the end of their demise plus Jason Negro

These kids choose to leave for greener pastures. Except, the kids that are third string at Bosco are now headed to Warren High school.?

Lara is now at St. Anthony's. Expect them to bulk up real quick
Poly is lower than it should be due to being in the Moore League. They were 0-3 against nonleague opponents like Serra, Corona Centennial-then went 7-0 against league cupcakes with poor ratings-driving them down below where they should be. Suspect this may be addressed in the off season-a more realistic placement is Division 2.

Mathew 7:5 is a little terse...but Luke 6:42 is softer...I recall a certain mid pack D1 school not making the play offs and then...you could say "quickly" became National Champions...pretty clear how folks feel about this aspect of HSFB.

Re: Long Beach Poly division 4
It is a known fact that a lot of the caliber of players that used to go to Poly are now going to Bosco. Why that is is clearly up for debate but once they did another program saw the results and was not trying to get left behind. The end result is now we have two super powers and Poly is England, relevant but not quite the world leader they used to be.

yup, Corona Centennial is the only Cali public school that has still somewhat remained a national power, but not enough to finish number 1, which i hope a Cali public school achieves someday in my lifetime.

That Izzy Carter kid for Cen10 is an absolute stud. Cen10's lineup of receivers are as good if not better than Servites (Malachi Riley, Jaden Mickey, etc).

Izzy is a RB playing QB. Kid is a terrible passer. Just goes to shoe how much you know about football.

He may be a clown but you need to proof read or just learn how to spell.

Spelling or proof reading has nothing to do with it. I hit "o" instead of "i". Now get back in the kitchen skirt.

Had to dwell on your comment for awhile and you hurt my feelings. Do you care to retract the "skirt" commentary so I can sleep tonight? I would be interested to know if such verbage gives you a sense of power or entitlement? It makes me sad.
