Inglewood for 106 pts
Classless performance for all involved. Morningside completely outmanned. I think they should move Inglewood into the Division 1 bracket for the playoffs and move the lowest seed into Div 2.
Let them play big boy football if that's what they think they have.
The last play of the game they throw for a touchdown and go for the 2 pt conversion. Nice coach!

Re: Inglewood for 106 pts
Coach was sitting on 98 thinking I'm already going to hell, might as well crack the century mark!
Re: Inglewood for 106 pts
Your lack of knowledge of what was going on between the coaching staff from both teams, the idea that the penalty at the last TD put it out of the kickers' range. That nobody was talking about Inglewood before this game and now non-fans have an opinion. The coaching staff from Inglewood are leaders from the top 7on7 program and also happen to be black, so your response could come off looking racist and small-minded.
They will move up to playing better teams next season.

Corona Centennial won 84-nothing the same weekend.

Sunset
First I do not care what color anyone is, what I do care about is any coaching staff for whatever reason
choose to humiliate an undermanned team. I suspect there might be hard feelings from some prior engagement but I cannot see any reason to pummel a bunch of high school kids that are truly out there for the love of the game. Sure it will get you noticed, every radio station that knows nothing about HSFB is talking about this. Classless.

So is Servite and Mater Dei. Even if it was possible neither would run up 100, and there is no love lost there.

Re: Inglewood for 106 pts
It should be remembered that the Inglewood coach is the same Mil'Von James who built Hawkins into a City Section power on a foundation of ineligible players and other improprieties, only to get canned when that house of cards collapsed and went in the toilet. People have a right to question his judgment and his methods.

Apology is a joke, maybe even at the request of CIF. I thought the last line was going to say:

and dude above talking about racism, gtfoh with that.

Re: Inglewood for 106 pts
How freaking reckless and irresponsible, among other adjectives, was it for that coach to keep a UCLA bound QB in the game past the 1st half up 50+? And still standing in the pocket slinging and susceptible. If I were the parent, I think I’d have something to say about that. Heck, if I were the kid I’d hope I had the cajones to question such.
I’ve seen this coach in club 7’s. Not surprised, but still mortified that nobody else had the balls to put a stop to it. Where was the principal and AD, let alone parents?
Disgraceful, (as was the 2pt conversion NO MATTER THE SITUATION).
I’ll be there to watch Bonny take them down Friday night.

Embarrassing across the board...The "apology' letter is a joke and the fact that you can run up that many points in a HS game is an embarrassment. No running clock? Going for 2 at the end of the game? Shameful.

Re: Inglewood for 106 pts
This coach is simply teaching his boys to be winners. He’s teaching his boys to do their best. Anyone should be able to respect that. If you don’t like being demolished, then find a way to stop it. Cam Newton said it best, “don’t want me to score? Stop me.” Fallout from the “everyone gets a trophy generation”. If you don’t want to get beat by 100 or 200, either get better or find something else to do!

Re: Inglewood for 106 pts
“Simply teaching his boys to be winners” ???
Character, class and integrity abound.
Hope you ain’t a father or a coach. As what you support as “winning” is tantamount to being in a fist fight and then kicking your opponent in the head after you knock him down and inviting your friends to join in. Excuse the analogy and it’s PC implications, but that’s a thug mentality.
If this is just teaching kids to win, why aren’t more coaches running up the score in such a manner? With the talent and depth disparity in HS football these days it could happen every week… if only there were more coaches “teaching their kids how to win”.
I guess I forgot why Ive avoided this board as of late. Oft moronic discourse.

Inglewood didn’t provide game tape to Bonny. Shocking! More sound teaching on winning.

Re: Inglewood for 106 pts
This guy obviously has a inferiority complex. Big bad dude beating up the little guy. Even Mater Dei shows mercy on La Mirada when they played. This Inglewood coach shouldnt be leading young men. Then the fact that hes throwing the ball. The administration should seriously talk to this guy , especially after Hawkins track record
