Prius and Carpool lanes

Does anybody know if Prius' with carpool stickers will be able to continue to use the HOV lanes? I was thinking of picking one up with stickers on it.

I want to ride the Prius into Torrance on a daily basis.
It would save me 45 minutes a day from NOC.

Can't you find someone to carpool with? They only get around 37 mpg on freeway (45 city).
Before you buy a used car with the HOV stickers, you may want to check with the DMV and verify they are valid, there are fake stickers out there.
