Pirates' Paradise will be the largest aquatic themed recreational facility in the United States. Year-round features will include a two hundred space recreational vehicle campground, an 18-hole miniature golf course, and an old-fashioned amusement park with merry-go-rounds, a Ferris wheel, and thrill rides. Other attractions will be U-Drive go-carts and an arcade. The park will come alive with squeals of excitement when the waterpark opens for the summer months. It will feature the 300 foot long Wizard's Revenge, in which riders will toss, turn, twist and scream their heads off as they plummet through total darkness toward the surprise ending. The park will also have two side-by-side six-story speed slides, where riders will be able race each other. The Little Bucaneers will be able to play to their hearts' content in the splash pool, test their bravery on one of the life-like dinosaur slides or float down the Lazy River with their moms and dads. Activities in the bay will be water skiing, banana boat rides, parasailing and personal watercraft rentals in their own roped-off lagoon. An added benefit will be less traffic and added parking on the peninsula because of the hundreds of people per day that the park will divert from the beaches. |
