A partial verdict has been reached in the Sines v. Kessler trial, but the jury could not come to a unanimous vote on the first two of the six allegations.
However, the jury did reach an agreement on the other four counts, which means jurors believe the defendants conspired to commit violence in a civil conspiracy.
Jason Kessler, Richard Spencer, Christopher Cantwell, James Fields, Jr., Robert Ray, Nathan Damigo, Elliott Kline, Matthew Heimbach, Matthew Parrot, Michael Hill, Michael Tubbs, and Jeff Schoep each have to pay $500,000 in damages.
Additionally, Vanguard America, the League of the South, Identity Evropa, the Traditionalist Worker Party, and the National Socialist Movement each must pay $1 million in damages.
This is a total of $11 million in punitive damages for the conspiracy, the third count.
Both sides will be appealing.
